I chose wind turbines. I learned they can start on fire and, only 1.7% of Canada is powered by wind turbines.
I picked biomass energy
a good thing about biomass it is Renewable.
a bad thing about biomass is there using food when we could be eating it.
I chose solar 1 only 0.2% is solar in Canada
I chose hydro electricity. I learned alot such i never knew about the site c or three greoges dam and I never new what a mega watt is
My alternative energy that I have chosen is solar power. My first interesting fact is that in New Mexico they are making transparent solar panels, so in the future our windows can create energy. And my second interesting fact is that they make solar farms to collect lots of energy.
i did wind energy and i learned this: there are blimp turbines and tree turbines. i also learned that wind turbines can be offshore.
The first thing I learned about wind energy is that it is renewable and we will never run out of it.
The second thing I learned about wind energy is that it runs on solar power and the sun.
The Alternative Energy I chose was wind. My first interesting fact I learned is it runs on solar power and my second interesting fact I learned is it doesn't pollute our environment.
I did wind turbines. They are very cool and they don't make eny pollution. They can ether go on land or water.
I picked Solar power. Two things i learned is that Solar-energy systems allow you to capture free sunlight and convert it into usable power in your home. Second is that you are using less electricity and using more solar energy.
The Alternative Energy my partner and I choose was Biomass.
two interesting facts I learned about Biomass is that its all plant and animal matter. the second thing I learned is that Biomass is not fossilized material.
I chose Solar Energy.
1. I never knew how big solar power plants were.
2. I always thought that alot of Canada's energy was solar but i learned that solar energy is only 5% of canada's energy.
I'm doing wave power and learned you can create electricity from waves and that not very much power is created by waves.
I do my project on solar electicity . I learned that the US has a big photovoltiac factory with thousands of solar panels and that people are trying to make solar panels look like regular glass.
Me and my partner are doing hydro for our project. One thing that I found interesting is that a lot of people are using hydro across Canada. Another thing is that I doesn't wreck the environment as much as people think it does, because if you build it in a safe place once it's there it's not going to move.
I did solar power and I learned that solar panels can be very expensive and also it is a renewable source.
I did solar power and I learned that many companies provide solar power and also the solar farm in Italy provides 70 watts of power.
Nuclear energy and that it powers 15% of candadas power and that it can cause disaster.
2 and I chose hydro. I learned that 60% of Canada's power is already hydro. Also hydro dams cost like a lot of money.
I did nuclear energy 1 it has the most producing rate 2 it has a chance of explosion :)
`my project is hydroelectricity 1 expensive to build 2 floods big space
